Cyberstalking has become an increasing issue as social media continues to grow and new forms of online communication and new platforms are evolving all the time. Cyberstalking occurs when digital technology to track and harass someone. Cyberstalking behaviour can include: constantly checking in on someone and trying to get their attention even when they make it clear that they are not interested.

Cyberstalking can also be called Cyberbullying and these are related in that the harassment is more direct and involves a lot of the behaviour of traditional bullying.
