Our Environmental, Social and Governance Commitments
AICS makes the following Environmental, Social and Governance Impact Statement:
- We will always consider our impact on the environment and climate, with the intent to conduct sustainable practices and promote sustainability in all our efforts.
- We will always seek to give opportunity to people from diverse backgrounds, and will respect each person’s gender identity and the diversity of lived experiences they bring to the profession.
- AICS commits to reducing its carbon footprint and minimising its impact on the world and its surroundings.
- We will always work to be conscious of the social impact of our actions and conduct ourselves with a view to improving equality and equity across gender, race, and other dimensions, and to improve the security posture of Australian organisations and contribute to a safer digital environment for all Australians.
- We will always respect differences in ideas and diversity and respect the law and government and act in the highest ethical and legal conscience possible.
- We will always promote fairness in all our work and aim to create pathways into cyber security for people from non-traditional backgrounds, including career changers, graduates, and underrepresented communities.
- Our commitment extends to maintaining the highest standards of environmental, social and governance responsibilities.
- We will always work to respect the laws, rules, customs and regulations of the Australian government and act in a law abiding manner.
- All our business dealings are conducted with the highest ethical and moral values across all parties and stakeholders.
