The Australian Institute of Cyber Security is an independent membership-based organisation with a mission to advance the development of Cyber Security professionals in Australia. We run numerous Cyber Security courses, including foundational courses for non-professionals, and hundreds of programs and courses on the theory of corporate governance and how to apply it in practice across different sectors and industries.

We also provide best practice guidelines, continuing professional development, industry updates, and new perspectives on cyber security and related topics. We advocate for excellence in cyber security practice and liaise with government on issues of cyber security.

Cyber security is the means of protecting the integrity of data in information systems. Using passive and active measures to guard from any external threat that seeks to compromise the integrity of the data or the system that houses it. Cyber Security relies on the involvement and adherence to processes, procedures, and people administering the technology available to protect data.
