What happens when you apply
Membership applications are reviewed against the relevant pathway requirements – foundational competence for MAICS, graduate-level requirements for GAICS, recognised senior practice for FAICS. The institute will let you know which pathway suits your stage and what (if anything) is required to complete it. Course requirements are completed through the AICS accredited course pathway. Membership is renewed annually and credentials are independently verifiable on the AICS member register.

AICS reviews your application and indicates the pathway – MAICS, GAICS or FAICS – and what’s required to complete it.
3. Confirm membership
Complete any outstanding course or evidence requirements and your designation is added to the AICS member register, independently verifiable.
